Knox Thames works at the US Department of State as the first Special Advisor for Religious Minorities in the Near East and South/Central Asia.

Knox is also an Adjunct Professor at the U.S. Army War College. Knox was previously the Director of Policy and Research at the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. He can be followed on Twitter @KnoxThames.
