Murray Ackman is a Research Associate at the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), a non-profit think tank dedicated to shifting the world's focus to peace as a positive, achievable and tangible measure of human well-being and progress. IEP produces the Global Peace Index and the Global Terrorism Index and recently released the Mexico Peace Index. Prior to IEP Murray has worked as a researcher for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, the Federal Court of Australia and the Salvation Army Social Programs. Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons I) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
