Tobias Borck

Middle East Analyst and Researcher

Tobias Borck is a Middle East analyst and researcher, and a PhD candidate at the University of Exeter. His doctoral research focuses on concepts of security, order and stability in the Middle East. Other research interest include post-Arab Spring developments in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, as well as European (and specifically German and British) foreign policies towards the Middle East. Tobias holds degrees in Arabic and Middle East Studies (Bachelor) and Applied Security Studies (Master) from the University of Exeter, and has spent time studying and working in Egypt and Morocco. Most recently, he has worked for the Royal United Services Institute.
